Prohibited & Restricted Products Policy
Version 2.1 · Effective 2026-09-09
SUFFLE ONLINE
Operated by Naucera Travel Private Limited
IMPORTANT: Suffle Online does not permit products that are unlawful, unsafe, counterfeit, deceptive, materially misleading, prohibited by applicable law, or otherwise restricted from sale through the Marketplace. Category-specific restrictions, seller verification, product approval, serviceability and fulfilment controls apply in addition to this Policy.
1. Purpose
This Policy establishes the categories of products and product-related conduct that may not be listed, offered, advertised, sold, fulfilled or promoted through Suffle Online (“Suffle”, “Marketplace”, “we”, “us”). It also establishes how restricted products are reviewed and how sellers must provide information needed for compliance.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to every seller, product listing, variant, bundle, kit, service-linked product, customized product, local product, manually created seller-assisted order and promotional representation made through Suffle where the underlying transaction involves a Marketplace product.
It applies to product titles, descriptions, images, videos, attributes, variants, documents, packaging claims, prices, offers, storefront content and other product-related information.
3. Core Marketplace Rule
No seller may list or sell a prohibited product. A product that appears in a category that is generally allowed may still be prohibited because of its ingredients, intended use, claims, condition, authenticity, regulatory status, documentation, packaging, jurisdiction, age restriction or other applicable factor.
Suffle may impose stricter Marketplace restrictions than the minimum legal requirement where reasonably necessary for customer safety, compliance, platform integrity or risk management.
4. Prohibited Products
The following categories are prohibited unless Suffle expressly states otherwise in writing and applicable law permits the transaction:
· Illegal goods, unlawfully obtained goods, stolen goods or goods whose sale or possession is unlawful.
· Counterfeit, replica or unauthorised products represented as genuine branded products.
· Products that infringe intellectual property rights, including unauthorised copies of protected goods, software, media, designs, trademarks or copyrighted material.
· Weapons, ammunition, explosives and other prohibited or highly restricted weapons or weapon components, except where a specific category is expressly authorised and legally compliant.
· Illegal drugs, controlled substances, recreational drugs and products marketed for unlawful drug use.
· Hazardous chemicals, poisons, toxic substances, radioactive materials or other dangerous substances where their sale through the Marketplace is prohibited or inadequately controlled.
· Products intended to facilitate fraud, identity theft, payment abuse, unauthorised access or other unlawful activity.
· Malware, malicious software, credential-stealing tools, spyware and products whose principal purpose is unauthorised surveillance or cyber abuse.
· Products that falsely claim medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, disease-prevention or other regulated effects where the seller lacks the required basis or authorisation.
· Adult or sexually explicit products or media where prohibited by applicable law or Suffle category rules.
· Products involving exploitation, abuse, trafficking or other unlawful conduct.
· Human remains, organs, protected wildlife, endangered species or products prohibited under applicable environmental or wildlife laws.
· Gambling products, unauthorised gambling services or devices where prohibited by applicable law.
· Counterfeit currency, forged documents, fake certificates, fake identification or other fraudulent official-looking documents.
· Products or listings that materially facilitate evasion of taxes, customs duties, regulatory requirements or lawful enforcement.
· Any other product expressly prohibited by applicable law, competent authority or Suffle's then-current category rules.
5. Restricted Products
Some products may be lawful but require enhanced review, documentation, category controls, age controls, seller eligibility, geographic restrictions or other conditions before they may be listed or sold.
· Food, grocery and consumable products requiring applicable food-safety, labelling, shelf-life or licensing compliance.
· Health, wellness, personal-care and cosmetic products with regulated ingredients, claims, labels or certifications.
· Electrical and electronic products subject to applicable safety, certification, import, labelling or standards requirements.
· Products requiring BIS, Legal Metrology, FSSAI, trademark/brand authorisation, importer documentation or other category-specific compliance, where applicable.
· Imported products requiring customs, importer or country-of-origin information.
· Age-restricted or otherwise legally restricted products.
· Perishable, temperature-sensitive, fragile or hazardous products requiring special fulfilment controls.
· Products containing batteries, chemicals or other materials that may require specialised transport or handling.
· High-value goods or categories requiring additional seller, authenticity or transaction verification.
· Custom or personalised products whose requested design, text, image, ingredient, material or intended use creates a legal, safety or IP concern.
· Local products or services that require location-specific licences, permits or operating permissions.
6. Category-Specific Compliance
A seller must comply with all laws, regulations, standards, licences, registrations, labelling requirements and category-specific conditions applicable to the product. Suffle may configure compliance requirements dynamically by category and subcategory.
Not every seller or product will require the same documents. The applicable requirement may depend on the product, category, claims, seller type, location, intended market and other relevant factors.
7. Seller Verification Does Not Approve Every Product
Seller approval is not product approval. A seller may be an Approved Seller while an individual product remains under review, requires documents, is rejected, suspended or prohibited.
Likewise, submission of a document does not by itself establish that a product is approved. Super Admin review remains the final Marketplace verification authority.
8. Product Approval and Publication
Only products that satisfy the applicable seller, category, compliance, product-information and Marketplace requirements may become Approved and Published.
· Draft
· AI Review
· Documents Required
· Seller Submitted
· Admin Review
· Changes Required
· Approved
· Published
· Paused
· Rejected
· Suspended
· Out of Stock
Purchasability requires all applicable conditions. A product must have an Approved seller, satisfy category eligibility, have the required product approval, be Published, be in stock where applicable and be serviceable to the customer.
9. Seller Responsibility for Product Information
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and lawful basis of product information they provide. This includes product identity, brand, specifications, ingredients, quantity, dimensions, weight, MRP, selling price, tax information, warranty, expiry/best-before information, certifications, claims, origin, variants and other applicable attributes.
No fabricated compliance information. A seller must not invent or misrepresent certifications, licences, ingredients, safety claims, specifications, brand ownership, warranty, authenticity or regulatory status.
10. Counterfeit and Authenticity Controls
Sellers must not list counterfeit, unauthorised replicas or products falsely represented as genuine branded goods. Where authenticity or brand authorisation is relevant, Suffle may request invoices, distribution documents, authorisation letters, trademark-related records or other evidence.
Suffle may suspend a listing or seller while authenticity concerns are investigated.
11. Intellectual Property
Products, images, logos, descriptions, packaging and promotional materials must not infringe another party's intellectual property rights. Sellers must have the rights necessary to sell the product and use the content they submit.
IP complaints and enforcement are also governed by the Suffle Online Intellectual Property Policy.
12. Food, Fresh and Consumable Products
Food and consumable listings must satisfy applicable food-safety, labelling, ingredient, allergen, shelf-life, storage and licensing requirements. Where configured for the category, vegetarian/non-vegetarian status and other mandatory attributes must be provided accurately.
Expired, spoiled, contaminated, deceptively labelled or otherwise unlawful consumables are prohibited.
Sellers must not make unsupported health, medicinal or disease-related claims.
13. Health, Wellness, Beauty and Personal Care
Products in regulated health, wellness, cosmetic and personal-care categories may require additional documents or restrictions. Sellers must accurately disclose applicable ingredients, warnings, usage information, expiry or best-before information and required compliance information.
Suffle may restrict products where claims or formulations create unacceptable regulatory or customer-safety risk.
14. Electrical, Electronic and Technical Products
Products subject to applicable safety, certification, labelling or technical standards must satisfy those requirements before publication. Sellers must not falsely display certification marks or claim compliance that has not been established.
15. Age-Restricted Products
Where a product is subject to age restrictions or other lawful eligibility conditions, the seller must comply with applicable verification, display, sale and fulfilment requirements. Suffle may prohibit a category even where a seller believes an alternative sale method is possible.
16. Hazardous, Dangerous or Special-Handling Products
Products that require special handling, storage, packaging, transport or disclosure may be restricted or prohibited. Sellers must not ship a restricted product using an inappropriate delivery method or conceal hazardous characteristics.
Suffle does not authorise a seller to transport any product in violation of courier, carrier, aviation, postal, environmental, safety or other applicable rules.
17. Medicines and Regulated Substances
Prescription medicines, controlled substances and other regulated medicinal products may not be listed unless Suffle expressly supports the category and the seller satisfies all applicable legal and Marketplace requirements. Sellers must not use Suffle to facilitate unlawful dispensing or sale.
This Policy does not constitute regulatory approval or a licence to sell regulated products.
18. Cybersecurity, Surveillance and Digital Products
Malware, spyware, credential theft tools, unauthorised surveillance tools and products primarily intended to compromise systems or accounts are prohibited.
Legitimate software and security products may still be subject to review where their capabilities could create significant abuse or regulatory risk.
19. Financial, Payment and Fraud-Related Products
Products or services that facilitate payment fraud, identity theft, forged financial instruments, unauthorised account access or unlawful financial activity are prohibited.
Suffle Marketplace payments are processed through the platform's configured payment flow. Sellers may not use product listings to redirect customers to unauthorised or deceptive payment arrangements.
20. Documents, Certificates and Identification
Fake, forged, altered or unlawfully obtained identity documents, certificates, licences, permits, educational records, government documents or similar instruments are prohibited.
Customer-uploaded documents used for legitimate customisation or order processing remain private to the applicable request/order and must not be converted into public product content.
21. Wildlife, Environmental and Protected Goods
Products involving protected wildlife, endangered species, illegal animal parts, unlawfully sourced natural materials or other environmentally protected goods are prohibited where sale is unlawful or cannot satisfy applicable requirements.
22. Gambling and Chance-Based Products
Gambling products, unauthorised gambling services and listings that facilitate unlawful betting or chance-based financial activity are prohibited.
23. Misleading, Deceptive or Unsafe Listings
· False or materially misleading product descriptions.
· Images that materially misrepresent the actual product.
· Fake discounts, fake MRP, fabricated ratings or false scarcity claims.
· Unsupported safety, medical, certification, environmental or performance claims.
· Misleading brand, origin, material, ingredient or specification information.
· Listings designed to conceal a prohibited product or circumvent category restrictions.
24. Customized and Personalised Products
Customisation does not exempt a product from this Policy. A seller must not accept a customer design, text, image, ingredient, logo, symbol or other requested modification where doing so would create a prohibited, unlawful, infringing, unsafe or otherwise restricted product.
Customer customization files are governed by the Custom & Personalised Products Policy and are not public product media.
25. Local and Fresh Products
Local, handmade, fresh and made-to-order products may be subject to additional location, food-safety, hygiene, storage, delivery or licensing requirements. Seller-managed local delivery and pickup must comply with the Local Delivery & Store Pickup Policy.
26. Seller-Assisted / Manual Orders
A seller may not use a manual or seller-assisted order to bypass product approval or restrictions. A product that cannot lawfully or properly be sold through the Marketplace cannot become permissible merely because the seller creates the order manually.
27. Serviceability Does Not Override Restrictions
A product being deliverable to a particular Country, State, District or Pincode does not mean the product is approved for sale. Serviceability is evaluated separately from legal/category/product eligibility.
28. AI-Assisted Product Listing
Suffle Super AI may assist sellers with categorisation, attribute suggestions, content completeness and product checks. AI output is not regulatory approval.
Seller remains responsible for truth and legality. AI must not be relied upon as evidence that a product is safe, certified, licensed, authentic or legally saleable.
AI may flag a product for review, but final approval, rejection or suspension remains subject to the Marketplace's configured review process and Super Admin authority.
29. Monitoring and Detection
Suffle may use automated checks, AI-assisted review, seller-submitted documents, customer reports, transaction signals and human review to identify potentially prohibited or restricted products.
Automated detection may produce false positives or require additional information. A flagged listing may be paused or held for review while the matter is investigated.
30. Documents and Evidence
Where compliance evidence is required, sellers must provide accurate, valid and current documents through the central Document System. Suffle may request additional evidence, clarification, invoices, authorisations, certifications, licences or product photographs.
Documents are handled under the Suffle Online Document Policy and applicable privacy/security controls.
31. Product Removal, Suspension and Rejection
Suffle may reject, pause, remove or suspend a listing where it reasonably believes the product is prohibited, restricted without required compliance, misleading, unsafe, infringing, counterfeit, unlawful or otherwise unsuitable for Marketplace sale.
A seller may be asked to correct information or provide additional documentation before a listing is reconsidered.
32. Seller Suspension
Repeated or serious violations may result in seller-level restrictions, suspension or termination. Suffle may also restrict related listings, products, storefront visibility or transaction functionality where necessary to prevent continued risk or circumvention.
33. Orders Affected by Product Restrictions
If a product becomes prohibited or is suspended after an order has been placed, Suffle may restrict fulfilment, cancel the affected order/sub-order, investigate the matter or process an applicable refund in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Suffle will not represent an order as successfully fulfilled when the underlying product or transaction cannot lawfully or safely be completed.
34. Customer Reports
Customers may report suspected counterfeit, unsafe, prohibited, misleading or otherwise non-compliant products through available support or grievance channels. Suffle may request order details, photographs, documents or other evidence needed to investigate.
35. Seller Appeals and Clarification
Where an enforcement action is eligible for review, the seller may submit clarification or supporting evidence through the available seller support or review process. Suffle may uphold, modify or reverse an action based on the evidence and applicable rules.
36. No Circumvention
Circumvention is prohibited. Sellers must not use alternate titles, categories, images, bundles, variants, private/manual orders, storefront content, external links or other mechanisms to bypass a restriction or product approval requirement.
37. Bundles, Kits and Components
A bundle, kit or set may be restricted if any component is prohibited or restricted. Sellers must disclose material components accurately and must not split a prohibited product into multiple listings to evade review.
38. Promotional and Advertising Content
Promotional banners, offers, social content, seller storefront content and other Marketplace promotional materials must not promote prohibited products or make unlawful or misleading claims about restricted products.
39. Seller Responsibilities
· Review applicable laws and category requirements before listing a product.
· Provide accurate product and compliance information.
· Maintain valid licences, registrations, certifications and authorisations where required.
· Ensure product packaging, labels and claims are lawful and accurate.
· Do not list prohibited products or attempt to evade review.
· Promptly inform Suffle if a previously listed product becomes restricted, recalled, unsafe or otherwise non-compliant.
· Cooperate with investigations and provide requested evidence.
40. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must use products lawfully and must not request customisation or seller assistance for prohibited purposes. Customers should report suspected unsafe, counterfeit or prohibited products promptly.
41. Recalls and Safety Notices
Sellers must promptly notify Suffle of applicable product recalls, safety notices, regulatory prohibitions or material compliance failures affecting products sold through the Marketplace.
Suffle may restrict affected listings and orders while the matter is investigated.
42. No Legal or Regulatory Approval by Suffle
Marketplace approval is not a government licence, certification or legal opinion. Seller and product approval by Suffle does not replace any licence, registration, certification, tax, food-safety, product-standard, environmental, import, age-verification or other requirement imposed by law.
43. Third-Party Couriers and Fulfilment
Where sellers use third-party couriers, sellers remain responsible for ensuring that the product is lawful and accepted for the selected fulfilment method. Courier acceptance does not establish Marketplace or legal compliance.
44. Relationship with Other Suffle Policies
This Policy should be read with the Terms & Conditions, Seller Storefront Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, Intellectual Property Policy, Custom & Personalised Products Policy, Local Delivery & Store Pickup Policy, Seller-Assisted (Manual) Orders Policy, Payment Information Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Reviews & Ratings Policy, Document Policy, Privacy Policy, Data Security & Protection Policy and other applicable Suffle policies.
Where another policy imposes an additional requirement, the seller must satisfy that requirement as well.
45. Policy Administration
Suffle may maintain prohibited and restricted category rules, product attributes, compliance requirements and review controls centrally. These controls may be updated as applicable law, safety requirements, Marketplace risks and operating requirements change.
Super Admin may create, edit, activate, deactivate or otherwise configure category restrictions, compliance requirements, product approval rules and enforcement controls through the central Marketplace administration system.
46. No Duplication of Compliance Systems
This Policy is implemented through Suffle's central Marketplace Product, Category, Attribute, Document, Seller Verification, Serviceability, Order and Enforcement systems. No separate duplicate prohibited-product database or parallel product-approval workflow should be created where the central system can enforce the requirement.
47. Records and Audit Trail
Relevant listing reviews, documents, decisions, enforcement actions, seller submissions and administrative changes may be recorded in the central audit system for security, compliance, dispute resolution and operational purposes, subject to applicable retention rules.
48. Privacy and Confidentiality
Compliance documents, customer customization files, seller business records and other sensitive information must be handled according to applicable access controls and Suffle's Privacy, Document and Security policies. Such information must not be unnecessarily disclosed publicly.
49. Contact and Grievance
Questions, complaints or concerns regarding prohibited/restricted products may be submitted through Suffle's available support and grievance channels.

50. Legal and Implementation Note
This Policy is intended to establish Marketplace controls and does not constitute legal advice. Sellers remain responsible for determining and meeting the laws and regulatory requirements applicable to their products and business. Suffle should obtain legal/compliance review in India before production launch and periodically thereafter, particularly for regulated categories.
Where applicable, Marketplace operations should be aligned with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, applicable DPDP Rules and other laws, regulations, standards and sector-specific requirements.
51. Version and Changes
Version: 2.0
Suffle may update this Policy from time to time. The current version, effective date and applicable seller/customer acceptance records should be maintained through the central legal/policy management system.
